Students Work While Earning School Credit Through EB’s High School MDA Design Co-Op

General Dynamics Electric Boat recently launched its first-ever High School MDA Design Co-op, where students are offered the opportunity to work in conjunction with earning school credit.

The students pictured are representative of both Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School and Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School. They participate in their school’s work-based learning programs, where every other two weeks they are employees of Electric Boat and prepare to work full time after graduation.

This program was made possible in collaboration with the Marine Draftsmen’s Association, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development and the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS). Let’s welcome these students and wish them well as they come aboard the Electric Boat team!
